In this game of golf, “green” means scholarship $$
Alumni, faculty, students and friends took to the greens Oct. 9 in the 16th annual School of Pharmacy Golf Classic to raise some green for student scholarships via the school’s annual fund.
Many congratulations to the winning team, AmerisourceBergen: Lenny Campbell, Ron Davis (B.S. ’73), Hunter Hoggatt and David Williams (B.S. ’97, Pharm.D. ’06).
Tee time at Birkdale Golf Club in Chesterfield was at 9 a.m., with lunch at 2 p.m. The day was beautiful, albeit slightly windy.
School of Pharmacy participants included Don and Gretchen Brophy, professors; Ellen Leverich, director of development; Bill Smith, excecutive associate dean; and Dean Victor Yanchick. Representing other university departments were Gordon McDougall, assistant vice president for alumni relations; Bill Kotti, president of the MCV Foundation; and Brian Thomas, vice president for the School of Engineering Foundation.
