‘Tis the season to be giving
VCU School of Pharmacy alumnus Rusty Maney (B.S. ’87) has presented Dean Victor A. Yanchick a check for $10,000 to support scholarships and diversity at the school.
The check, presented Dec. 18, goes toward Walgreens’ endowed scholarship fund, the School of Pharmacy’s largest corporate-endowed scholarship.
Maney is district pharmacy supervisor for Walgreens.
The most recent recipients of the Walgreen Company Endowed Scholarship are Solomon Ogunware (Pharm.D. ’08) and Peter Wills (P4).
