Erin (Pharm.D. ’07 and a pharmacist for Kroger) and her sister Shelley, 26, hit the fast lane early on with Richmond Re-Cycles bike shop, which Erin co-founded, and Books on Wheels, which Shelley co-founded. Eric and his brother Evan, 28, are chief science officer and vice president of product development, respectively, for their pharmaceutical company, Intelliject. Victor A. Yanchick, dean of the School of Pharmacy, has edited a new book, “The Dean’s Compass: Practical Advice for Achieving Excellence,” along with Barbara E. Hayes, dean Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Patricia A. Chase, dean of West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. The book, published by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, offers advice by pharmacy deans, associate deans, administrators and others. Yanchick is also president of AACP.
