MCV Campus waitlist discontinued on June 25
Parking on the MCV Campus is oftentimes in high demand. With this in mind, in 2017, we employed a parking waitlist with hopes of creating a more timely and structured process to manage subscriber requests for relocations once vacancies became available.
Since the inception of the waitlist, we have only been able to award a handful of participants new parking assignments (due to construction, limited space availability, etc.), with a majority of subscribers experiencing extended waiting periods. Despite our initial hopes for the waitlist, the process has now become ineffective and is no longer sustainable.
On June 25, 2020, will retire the waitlist for our MCV Campus parking facilities. Prior to making this decision, we carefully evaluated all impacts as well as possible alternatives, but have deemed this decision to be the most effective given the challenging parking landscape.
Our goal has always been to provide the most optimal customer experience, and we will continue to explore future opportunities to improve parking on campus. In the meantime, subscribers who are currently on a waitlist will be removed at this time. Moving forward, requests for reassignments will be granted on a first come, first served basis, pending a facility’s availability.
