VCU Parking and Transportation

News & information

A, M, R Lot subscribers

Beginning on Thursday, June 11, some members of the VCU community will start to return to campus. When this occurs, the temporary parking arrangements currently in place for A, M and R Lot subscribers will expire.

On Thursday, June 11, all M Lot, R Lot and A Lot parking subscribers should return to their designated parking facilities. RamRide will resume normal service in these locations with physical distancing measures in place.

RamRide buses will operate at fifty percent capacity, accepting between 14 to 16 passengers on each bus, depending on vehicle size. All passengers must wear protective face masks upon boarding, and hand sanitizer will be made available at the front of the bus. Passengers should allow extra time in their commute to account for delays related to reduced occupancy. You can learn more about the measures we are taking to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 across RamRide at go.vcu.edu/ramride.

I Lot subscribers

Due to the physical distancing measures being implemented for RamRide in the A, M and R lots, the I Lot shuttle will be unavailable through summer 2020. In efforts to maintain adequate space availability for those returning to campus in the coming weeks, we cannot accommodate the existing parking arrangement at N Deck beyond June 10.

Beginning on Thursday, June 11, I Lot subscribers should park in Eighth St. Deck until further notice. If preferred, you may also opt to park in the A Lot located at 300 and 400 Oliver Hill Way. RamRide will begin to service A Lot on June 11 with physical distancing measures in place.

Coliseum Deck subscribers

Due to the physical distance measures being implemented for RamRide in the A, M and R lots, the I Lot shuttle will be unavailable through summer 2020.

Beginning on Thursday, June 11, Coliseum Deck subscribers may continue parking in Eighth St. Deck until further notice. If preferred, you may still park in Coliseum Deck and walk to your work location. Please note, the A Lot will be unavailable for parking starting June 11.

A Lot parking for non-VCU parking subscribers ends June 10

Wednesday, June 10 is the last day the A Lot will be available for non-subscriber parking. Beginning on June 11, the A Lot will be reserved for VCU parking subscribers only.

VCU Health team members in need of parking
