Upcoming RamRide holiday impacts

RamRide’s service schedule will be altered for the upcoming winter break. Additional details, including parking accommodations for impacted subscribers, can be found below.

RamRide service schedule:    

  • Tuesday, Dec. 24 – RamRide service stops at 8 p.m.

M/R Lot subscribers: RamRide service to the M Lot and R Lot will stop at 8 p.m. The last bus will depart from the Children’s Hospital stop at 8 p.m. Subscribers who work later than 8 p.m. should park in D Deck, beginning at 2 p.m. If you utilize RamRide prior to 8 p.m., you will NOT be affected by this interruption. 

Please note, if you are parked in M or R Lot and your work day extends past 8 p.m., you will need to relocate your vehicle to D Deck between the hours of 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.  

A Lot, I Lot, Coliseum Deck subscribers: No impact on this day.  

  • Wednesday, Dec. 25 – No RamRide service

M/R Lot subscribers: Lots will be closed; subscribers should park on D Deck.

A Lot, I Lot, and Coliseum Deck: Subscribers should park on N Deck or Eighth St. Deck.

  • Thursday, Dec. 26 – RamRide resumes as normal.
Subscribers must park in their designated locations.
  • Friday, Dec. 27 – RamRide service stops at 8 p.m.  
Beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday Dec. 27, the temporary CHoR station on Broad St. will close due to a lane closure on E. Broad St. from 12th St. to 9th St. as the second crane is erected. 

M/R Lot subscribers: RamRide service to the M Lot and R Lot will stop at 8 p.m. The last bus will depart from the Children’s Hospital stop at 8 p.m. Subscribers who work later than 8 p.m. should park in D Deck, beginning at 2 p.m. If you utilize RamRide prior to 8 p.m., you will NOT be affected by this interruption.

M/R Lot subscribers: RamRide service to the M Lot and R Lot will stop at 8 p.m. The last bus will depart from the Children’s Hospital stop at 8 p.m. Subscribers who work later than 8 p.m. should park in D Deck, beginning at 2 p.m. If you utilize RamRide prior to 8 p.m., you will NOT be affected by this interruption.

M/R Lot subscribers: Lots will be closed; subscribers should park on D Deck.

A Lot, I Lot, and Coliseum Deck: Subscribers should park on N Deck or Eighth St. Deck.

  • Thursday, Jan. 2 – RamRide resumes as normal. 
Subscribers must park in their designated locations.

Your hangtag permit and/or VCU ID card will allow you access into your alternate deck during these times. In the event you encounter issues entering or exiting the deck, please press the “i” button for assistance. 

Customer service offices:

VCU Parking and Transportation customer service offices will be closed from Monday, Dec. 23 through Friday, Jan. 3 in accordance with the university’s winter closing. In the event you need motorist assistance services during this time, please contact (804) 828-7091.
