Shelly Orr to serve as president for Richmond Chapter of AACN

Shelly Orr, M.S.N., RN, CNE, clinical assistant professor with the VCU School of Nursing, will become president of the Greater Richmond Area Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) for the 2017-2018 year. Orr has been serving as president-elect of the association.

VCU School of Nursing faculty members serve on Richmond VCNP Board of Directors

Rachel Cloutier, M.S., RN, ACNP-BC, clinical instructor, recently became president of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners Richmond Region Board of Directors. Cloutier had previously been president-elect of the board. Shelly Smith, DNP, APRN-BC, clinical assistant professor and director of the DNP program, was appointed chair of the Government Relations Committee. Both terms begin in May 2017.
