Pam Parsons, Ph.D., GNP-BC, FNAP, associate dean for practice and community engagement and the Judith B. Collins and Joseph M. Teefey Distinguished Professor at the VCU School of Nursing, discussed her work to reduce social isolation among the elderly in the Richmond Health and Wellness Program during an interview that aired on With Good Reason Aug. 22-28. With Good Reason airs on 123 public radio stations nationwide, including the following stations in the Richmond area: RADIO IQ 92.5 FM, Sundays at 2 p.m.; WCVE 88.9 FM, Saturdays at 4 p.m.; and WCVE FM NEWS/TALK HD2, Sundays at 12 p.m. Audio of the interview is available here.
