School of Nursing holds preceptor dinner
The VCU School of Nursing recently held an appreciation dinner to thank and celebrate preceptors who provided clinical experiences for nurse practitioner students this past year. A highlight of the dinner was the presentation of the Outstanding Service Award to Rachel Livingston, CPNP (B.S.’00/N), of VCUHS Pediatric Neurology and Cathy Kelly, NP (B.S.’10/N), of Central Virginia Health Services. The honorees were selected based on nominations from across the VCU community. The School of Nursing plans to make this dinner an annual event as a way to thank the clinicians that precept its students.
