Nursing Junior Tara Francis Wins Two Scholarships
Nursing junior Tara Francis was selected as a recipient of the VCU Nursing Student Scholarship, which is sponsored by VCU Dining Services through an agreement with ARAMARK. The $1,000 award is based on her academic achievement and significant contributions to the university and community. Francis will be recognized at an awards ceremony and reception on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Rodney’s on the first floor of Shafer Court Dining Center.
Francis was also awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the VCU Chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi national honor society. She will be recognized during the Phi Kappa Phi Awards ceremony on Thursday, April 23 at 6 p.m. at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
