The following School of Nursing faculty members have recently presented across the country:

Ann Hamric, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, professor and associate dean of academic programs, recently presented the keynote address, titled “Moral Distress: From Research to Translation Into Practice,” at the 7th Annual Nursing Inquiry and Innovations Conference sponsored by UC San Diego Health System in San Diego, Ca.

Nancy Jallo, Ph.D., FNP-BC, WHNP-BC, CNS, assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Health Nursing, recently presented a poster, titled “Guided Imagery Effects on Pregnancy Symptoms and Outcomes,” at the National Institute of Nursing Research’s 2014 Center Directors’ Meeting.

Victoria Menzies, Ph.D., RN, PMHCNS-BC, assistant professor in the Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems, recently delivered a keynote presentation, titled “Harmonically Fundamental Tone of Collaboration,” at New Mexico State University’s Ph.D./D.N.P. Orientation Week in Las Cruces, N.M.

Angela Starkweather, Ph.D., ACNP-BC,CNRN, associate professor and chair of the Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems, recently participated in the open session on Symptom Cluster Research: Advancing Personalized Symptom Management at the National Advisory Council for Nursing Research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
