Dr. Rita Pickler Traveling to Haiti this February
Rita Pickler, PhD, RN, PNP-BC, FAAN, Professor of Family and Community Health Nursing, will be traveling to Haiti to the Cite Soleil and Blanchard areas in February 5-12, 2011 with a Haiti Outreach Ministries (HOM) team from Punta Gorda, FL. She was invited to join the group and to lead the effort to make electronic the school health records of 750+ children for whom HOM provides support.
