Nursing Students Without Borders announces guest speakers
During the month of October, Nursing Students Without Borders of VCU will host a series of guest speakers. All students, faculty and staff from all disciplines are encouraged to attend.

Jason Barnes from the Medical Reserve Corps will discuss volunteer opportunities.

Rebecca Bowers-Lanier, Ph.D., R.N., legislative consultant, will discuss health policy and its affect on nursing practice.

Treacy Stuck from the International Hospital for Children will discuss volunteer and internship opportunities.

Marilyn Metzler from CrossOver Ministries will discuss the Lay Health Promoter Program, effective health education in the community, and her experiences working in Somalia.
