Patricia Kinser Receives D. Jean Wood Nursing Scholarship Award
Patricia Kinser, Ph.D., RN, WHNP-BC, assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Health Nursing, received the D. Jean Wood Nursing Scholarship Award presented by the Southern Nursing Research Society (SNRS) to recognize the contributions of a researcher who has enhanced the science and practice of nursing in the Southern region. Due to flight cancellations from snow, Kinser was unable to attend SNRS but SON colleagues accepted the award on her behalf.
