VCU School of Nursing hosts March for Peace and a Clean Environment
In consideration of VCU’s Year of the Environment (2009-2010 academic year), and the World March for Peace and Non-Violence (Oct. 2, 2009), the VCU School of Nursing is sponsoring a 3.2 mile ‘March for Peace and a Clean Environment’ on Oct. 2 at Noon.
The walk will leave from the front of the School of Nursing Building and proceed to the Richmond Peace Education Center on 32nd Street (see below for a flyer and map). Supplies have been provided by the Clean City Commission and the parade permit is in the works.
Nursing students, faculty and alumni are encouraged to participate.
