The VCU School of Nursing recently received notice that 100% of our child health graduates who took the Pediatric Nursing Certification Boards (PNP) in 2008 passed the exam. Not only that, the national passing average was 464; graduates from VCU averaged 485. In each area of the exam, our graduates exceeded the national average of items correct.
We are very proud of our students’ accomplishment. The “national board” is a difficult test. The 6-year pass rate nationally for the exam is 78%. The VCU School of Nursing over the last 6 years has a 97% pass rate!
