School of Nursing hosts successful blood drive and bone marrow registration
VCU School of Nursing’s Council for Community Collaborations hosted a Blood Drive and Bone Marrow Registry event this week as part of our community outreach efforts. Thank you to all of the faculty, staff, students and volunteers who supported this event, as well as event partners the American Red Cross and Be The Match! Forty-four people volunteered to donate blood and 35 units were collected. Ten people signed up for the Bone Marrow Registry. View a photo album on the school’s Facebook page.
