VCU School of Nursing faculty and students, along with two senior undergraduate Pioneer students, recently worked with the Richmond City Health District’s Back to School Day.  The team provided 138 school entrance physical exams to Richmond area children so that they would be able to start school on time.  RCHD staff provided required immunizations.

Faculty participants were Allison Gregory, M.S., RN, FNP-BC; clinical assistant professor; Dana Burns, DNP, FNP- BC, clinical assistant professor; Leigh Ann Breckenridge, DNP, M.S.N., FNP- BC, RN, clinical assistant professor; and Carla Nye, DNP, RN, CPNP-PC, CNE, clinical associate professor. The following family nurse practitioner students participated: Molly Gardner, Lindsay Callahan, Kristen Boothby, Elizabeth Bedell, Nicole Meicke, Tehmina Virani, Rishana Richardson, Faith Kim, Lauren Reynolds, Susan Sisk, and Swathi Karkala. Pioneer students who participated include Maia Tran, and Stephanie A. Cattie.
