Alumna Dawn Adams wins Democratic nomination for the Virginia House of Delegates 68th District
Alumna Dawn M. Adams, DNP, ANP-BC, CHC (Cert.‘99/N), director of the Office of Integrated Health at the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, won the Democratic nomination this week for the Virginia House of Delegates 68th District. Adams has been an advocate for healthy communities for over 30 years. In her current role, Adams manages a multi-million dollar state budget, as well as builds strong relationships with state and local agencies to implement local community programs and construct public policy for individuals with developmental disabilities. She also works to partner primary care service providers with mental health services.
