Jean Giddens is the newly elected president of VACN
Jean Giddens, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, dean and professor at the VCU School of Nursing, is the newly elected president of the Virginia Association of Colleges of Nursing (VACN). VACN’s mission is to advance the quality of baccalaureate and graduate nursing education in Virginia in order to improve health care. Membership is comprised of nursing deans and directors from across the state that support nursing education. Giddens will serve a two-year term.
