Alumna Aimee Reyes featured on the VCU News Center for receiving Virginia’s Caring University scholarship
Aimee Reyes, RN (B.S.’11/N), clinical nurse at VCU Medical Center, was recently featured on VCU News Center as being one of 105 students who has benefited from Virginia’s Caring University scholarship. Reyes was awarded the scholarship after her acceptance into the School of Nursing’s accelerated Bachelor of Science program. Since 2005, the VCU Staff Senate has raised more than $110,000 for the Virginia’s Caring University scholarship through VCU and VCU Health employees’ donations and participation in the annual Marquita Aguilar Walk-a-Thon.
