VCU School of Nursing students teamed up with School of Pharmacy students on Saturday, March 25 for the Peninsula Mission of Mercy (MOM) free dental clinic in Yorktown, Va. More than 500 area residents received free dental treatment. Students participated in triage and provided health education to patients prior to and after their dental care. Nursing students who participated include Aprille Singson, Indira Miller, Nicole Downey, Kelly Lamm, Hannah Lands and Kristen Lamont. They were joined by Genevieve Beaird, M.S., RNC-OB, CHSE, clinical instructor with the School of Nursing.
