DNP student elected president of Central Virginia Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association
Tamara Broadnax, RN, NEA-BC (M.S.’07/N), a DNP student at the VCU School of Nursing and director of Telemedicine at VCU Health, has been elected president of the Central Virginia Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association (CVCNBNA) for a two-year term.
CVCNBNA, in collaboration with the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA), is a professional nursing organization working to reduce health disparities among African Americans and other minority communities in the Central Virginia area.
