The Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research (FNINR) recently selected Victoria Menzies, Ph.D., RN, PMHCNS-BC, associate professor in the Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems at the VCU School of Nursing, as an Ambassador to join in its advocacy efforts. FNINR is an independent nonprofit group that advocates for and advances nursing science in the name of promoting the health and wellbeing of all Americans.

Menzies was selected based on her excellence in research, knowledge of nursing science and advocacy activities. As an Ambassador, she will help educate state and federal policy makers and the public on the importance of nursing research and the funding necessary to support the health and wellbeing of all Americans.
