SON hosts lecture on excellence in teaching and scholarship
As part of the VCU School of Nursing 2017 Lecture Series, Marilyn H. Oermann, Ph.D., RN, ANEF, FAAN, the Thelma M. Ingles Professor of Nursing and director of evaluation and educational research at Duke University School of Nursing, presented “Excellence in Teaching and Scholarship: What Competencies Do You Need?” on Tuesday, Jan. 17. Oermann focused on student preparation, learning environments, interprofessional education and nursing education research.
