Hannah Samuels participates in study abroad trip to Haiti
Hannah Samuels, an accelerated nursing student, is featured in a story on the VCU News Center for participating in a study abroad trip to Haiti funded through the VCU Global Education Office. The trip was organized through a partnership between the VCU Institute for Women’s Health and the Richmond-based Midwives for Haiti. The students shadowed health care providers, clinicians and Haitian students. They also participated in mobile clinics and provided clinical assessments and prenatal health education for pregnant patients. Read the story here.
