School of Nursing Team to Participate in Massey Challenge at Ukrop’s 10K
A VCU School of Nursing team will participate in the Massey Challenge as a part of the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K on March 28. The team was formed through the efforts of Michelle Lynn Wright, Ph.D., RN, a postdoctoral fellow, to honor close friends and raise funds for cancer research. The Massey Challenge benefits the VCU Massey Cancer Center. One hundred percent of every dollar donated goes directly to fueling cancer research at the center. By accepting the challenge, participants become a part of a community commitment to help save lives, support cancer research and honor someone they love who has battled cancer.
