Jeanne Salyer Wins March of Dimes Nurse of the Year
Jeanne Salyer, Ph.D., RN, FNAP, associate professor in the Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems, was one of 21 nurses statewide recognized on Nov. 1 with a Nurse of the Year award from the Central Virginia March of Dimes. Sayler received the Educator/Researcher/Author Award. The Nurse of the Year awards ceremony is a statewide event that recognizes exceptional nurses, creates awareness of professional excellence and promotes the future of nursing, while advancing the mission of the March of Dimes.
