Fay Parpart Participates in Radio Interview on Public Housing Resource Centers
Fay Parpart, M.S., RN, ANP-BC, AACRN, clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Health Nursing, was one of several nurses interviewed by Charles Fishburne of the NPR affiliate WCVE about the upcoming opening of the Gilpin Court Resource Center. The Richmond City Health District (RCHD) operates Community Resource Centers in partnership with Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority (RRHA) in several of the RRHA public housing communities to provide residents with clinical services and health education. Parpart serves as a nurse practitioner and her community health nursing students perform clinicals at the centers. Click here to listen to the interview.
