VCU School of Nursing faculty had more than 25 presentations at the recent Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science  (CANS) annual conference in Washington, D.C. The conference examined future directions in science for optimizing health in the face of increasingly complex health needs and health systems. Sessions focused on the ways nurse scientists are applying innovative approaches to emerging science, including trends in Big Data and in the BRAIN Initiative.
