University of Cordoba Nursing Students to Visit VCU Nursing in July
The School of Nursing will host a group of nursing students from the University of Cordoba (UCO), Spain for an exchange program to learn about the health care system and nursing education in the U.S. The students will visit July 1-24, rotating through several observational experiences at the VCU Health System and in the community. They will finish with a presentation on their experiences on Wednesday, July 24. The exchange program is the result of an existing partnership established between the two universities through the Center for Integrative Mediterranean Studies and VCU’s Global Education Office. The SON and UCO nursing schools began the student exchange program in 2011 and this year’s group will be the third group of Spanish nursing students to travel to Richmond.
