Rams Win A-10 Conference Opener During VCU Nursing Night at Siegel Center
VCU School of Nursing faculty, staff, students and alumni cheered on the Rams on Jan. 9 as they routed the Dayton Flyers 74-62 during VCU Nursing Night at the Stuart C. Siegel Center. The game was VCU’s Atlantic-10 conference opener and the entire audience donned either a black or gold “Stripe the Stu” t-shirt once seated. More than 100 guests enjoyed hot dogs, cookies and drinks during a pre-game nursing social held in the Commonwealth Hospitality Room. The game, televised live locally on CBS 6, was sold out.
