Judith Parker-Faizoi Serves as Panelist at Virginia Oral Health Coalition
Judith Parker-Faizoi, M.S., B.S.N., B.S., FNP-BC, collateral clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Health Nursing, participated in a panel discussion at the Virginia Oral Health Coalition summit held in Richmond at the John Marshall Hotel. The panel’s topic, “Beyond Teeth: The Integral Relationship Between Oral Health and Overall Health,” drew approximately 200 attendees from dentistry, primary health care, academia, public policy, insurance, and philanthropy to the event. The summit’s purpose was to identify strategies that improve oral health through including oral health education and oral health care into practice and health policy.
