The VCU School of Nursing continues its Global Women’s Health Lecture Series on Thursday, March 22 with Guadalupe R. Blevins, founder of the Highland Support Project (and AlterNatives in Carytown), discussing “The Necessity of Prevention: Modern Health Issues in Indigenous Guatemala.”
The lecture will be held from 5:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. in Younger Auditorium at the VCU School of Nursing, located at 1100 East Leigh Street. It if free and open to the public.
The Highland Support Project is a non-profit organization that works with indigenous communities in Guatemala to address critical social, environmental and economic issues.
