Nursing Night at the Siegel Center a Great Success
VCU Nursing Night at the Siegel Center was held on Wednesday, Feb. 8 where over 140 nursing students, alumni, faculty, staff and preceptors came out to support and cheer on the Rams taking on the Towson Tigers. Nearly 100 guests enjoyed hot dogs, nachos, cookies and drinks during a pre-game nursing meet-up held at court level in the Board of Visitors Room.
Nancy Langston, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, dean of the VCU School of Nursing, hosted a small gathering of loyal alumni and friends in the University Suite on the second-level of the Siegel Center. During halftime, nursing students put forth a great effort in a tug-of-war against the Allied Health students, demonstrating once again the legendary spirit and passion for which our students and alumni are known.
Nursing Night at the Siegel Center was by all means a huge success!
