Distinguished Nursing Alumna Marilyn Tavenner Visits Campus
VCU Nursing alumna Marilyn Tavenner recently returned to her alma mater to speak about issues facing the nation’s healthcare system, CMS structure and goals, the Affordable Care Act and her own personal journey to arrive at where she is today. President Barack Obama recently announced his intention to nominate her to head the the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
