Sigma Theta Tau Inducts New Members
The Gamma Omega Chapter of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, held its induction ceremony at Younger Auditorium in the School of Nursing on Dec. 9. Membership to Sigma Theta Tau is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students who demonstrate academic excellence and to nurse leaders exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing. During the induction ceremony, new members held lighted candles while reciting the pledge of the society. They also received orchid and white honor cords to be worn during graduation signifying academic achievement in the field of nursing.
