Marian Altman, R.N., M.S., CNS-BC, CCRN, ANP, a VCU School of Nursing adjunct instructor who teaches in the R.N.-B.S. program (NURS 367) and in the CNS concentration, has been selected to receive a Circle of Excellence Award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses! AACN selects only 25 individuals to receive this award each year. The awards are presented to individuals who exemplify excellence in the care of acutely and critically ill patients and their families. Recipients will become part of the Circle of Excellence Society, which provides a rich network of experts who will continually generate innovation and excellence. Altman is a nurse clinician in the Digestive Health Unit at VCU Health System.
