SON Says Goodbye to Visiting Spanish Nursing Students
For the last few weeks, VCU SON has had the honor of hosting four nursing students and two faculty members from Cordoba, Spain. They have come by way of VCU’s Global Education Office for an exchange program with the University of Cordoba, where we hope to send several of our own students in May. The students lived in the GRC dorms and attended classes and exercises alongside our regular students, for which they will receive course credit at home. Along with their extensive work in the CLC, they also spent time at the Mosby Resource Center and Crossover Ministries helping with projects for uninsured patients with medical needs. Other activities included trips to Williamsburg, Skyline Drive, Washington, DC, and New York City. Eusebio, Gloria, Maria, Vicente, Pillar, and Guillermo, it’s been a joy to have you with us and we hope this is the beginning of a long partnership!
