April 30th is the National Take Back Initiative Day!
The School of Pharmacy’s Phi Delta Chi professional fraternity and the VCU Police Department will participate in the National Take Back Initiative on Saturday, April 30. The initiative was created last year to encourage people to dispose of expired or unused medications to help prevent drug abuse and poisoning and to help the environment. Participants can bring medications to the Gateway Building, 1200 E. Marshall St., between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday. Needles, syringes and illegal substances will not be accepted.
