Retirement Announcement for Dr. Rita Pickler
Dr. Rita Pickler, Nursing Alumni Endowed Professor, will be retiring from the VCU SON on June 1, 2011. She will be taking a position as Research Scientist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Rita’s daughter and family are living in Cincinnati so the move will take her closer to her family, We thank Rita for the many contributions that she has made over the years to the VCU School of Nursing in her multiple roles as teacher, researcher, administrator, clinical expert and Alumni Endowed Professor. Please join us in wishing Rita well in her retirement and move to Cincinnati. You will be missed!
