Remembering Sammer Ballout, N ’04
Please join the VCU School of Nursing as we send condolences to the family of Sammer Ballout, 32, who was killed in a car accident this past weekend on the Powhite Parkway. Sammer was in the first AB graduating class of Dec. 2004 and worked in CSICU at VCUHS. He routinely precepted our senior students in that unit. Sammer had also been accepted to Nurse Anesthesia school this fall at VCU and was eagerly awaiting the start of classes. VCUHS will be holding a memorial service for him – we will announce the specifics once they are determined.
