¡Una Vida Sana! Event at Mount Zion Church
¡Una Vida Sana! is holding it’s next community event on March 26th from 9-1 at Iglesia Monte de Sion (Mount Zion Church). They provide cardiometabolic disease screenings (BMI, Blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol) and health promotion counseling.
If you are interested in participating, contact the nursing student leaders Thomas Saddington or Sarah Paciulli.
Spanish proficiency is not necessary. The interpreter students from VCUHS Office of Language Services are involved and provide language interpretation. It’s a great chance to learn how to work with interpreters and work on multidisciplinary teams.
