Students from the Cosby High School Health Science Specialty Center visited VCU on April 30. Participants visited the VCU School of Nursing and the VCU Department of Nurse Anesthesia and learned about the many career options available in the health care field.

Helicopter Crew Teaches Nursing Students
The nurses and paramedics from LifeEvac, VCU Health System’s critical care helicopter transport, spent two days in the Clinical Learning Center at VCU School of Nursing. Training exercises included newborn, pediatric, and adult emergency situations requiring team work, excellent communication, and precision. Our students learned great clinical knowledge and observed great role models in action!
