VCU School of Nursing Faculty and Students Attend 2010 SNRS Conference
The VCU School of Nursing was well represented at the 2010 Southern Nursing Research Society Annual Conference. In addition to a number of faculty who presented research findings, doctoral students Denna Chaber, Debra Kelly, Deborah Fisher, Julie Strunk, Lois Phillips-Pula, Judy dellaRippa, Yui Matsuda, Brenda Baker and Claudia BouHadir (not pictured) presented posters. Post-doctoral fellow, Dr. Alison Montpetit presented both a poster and a paper.
Dr. Judy Lewis, Faculty Emeritus, received a special appreciation for her service as editor of SOJNR, SNRS’ online journal.
Dr. Debra Lyon, Interim Chair of Family and Community Health Nursing, received the D. Jean Wood Award for Scholarship.
Dr. Patty Gray, Chair of Adult Health and Nursing Systems, received the Leadership in Research Award.
