Congratulations to Dr. Gray
D. Patricia Gray, Ph.D., R.N. has been selected for the Southern Nursing Research Society 2010 Leadership in Research Award. Dr. Gray is chair of the VCU School of Nursing’s Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems.
As stated in her award notification her service “as President, President-elect, Newsletter Editor, Chair of the Nominating Committee, and through service to our sister organization, the Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science, you have insured that research in the Southern region and beyond will continue to be a vital force within the scientific community. Developing the infrastructure to insure that the next generation of nurse scientists will be able to share their research with others is a critical part of your legacy; many will be indebted to you for years to come.”
