Dr. Grap receives three-year NINR grant
Congratulations to Mary Jo Grap, Ph.D., R.N., FAAN, professor in the Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems. Effect of Backrest Elevation on Skin Integrity in the Critically Ill has been funded for three years by the National Institute of Nursing Research.
Her collaborators include Drs. Munro, Schubert and Wenzel. This work continues the line of inquiry established about 15 years ago by Drs. Grap and Munro, focusing on development of knowledge to inform nursing interventions in the provision of care for the critically ill adult. It’s a great privilege to be a part of a School whose faculty are making such significant and meaningful contributions to nursing and health care.
