VCU Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) Blog

The VCU HRPP is dedicated to facilitating ethically and scientifically sound research through robust review of research projects and through effective education and outreach to the VCU research community.

Did you know that IRB Staff are available for consultations as well as education/training events, such as lectures, workshops, and presentations? The VCU Human Research Protection Program is pleased to provide an intake form for investigators and research staff to request consultations or education/training events.

This intake form is available on our website, both on our main page, as well as on our News and Events page. To request a consultation or an education/training event, just complete the form to provide your contact information, some details about the type of event requested, and the topics you want to cover, and someone from IRB Staff will follow up with you, generally within one business day. If you wish to request multiple consultations/events, please complete one intake form per consultation/event. We hope that this intake form will provide a centralized and standardized means for investigators and research staff to request consultations and education/training events.

If you have questions about this intake form or about the education/training services offered by the VCU HRPP, or would like to provide feedback on this form, please contact Nyssa Towsley, Human Subjects Protection Education and Outreach Manager, at ntowsley@vcu.edu
