VCU IRB Star Coordinator Awards
The VCU IRB Star Coordinator is an annual award presented to a research or study coordinator at VCU that demonstrates outstanding work with the IRB.
The award winners are nominated by ORSP staff and selected by each IRB Panel. The program began in 2012 and is open to anyone outside of the Office of Research who fulfills the role of coordinator on research at VCU. The VCU IRB evaluates recipients in the areas of regulatory knowledge, communication, organization, consistency, and use of technology.
The winners of the VCU IRB Star Coordinator Award are presented with a small token of appreciation at a regularly scheduled IRB meeting between November and February of each year. Each IRB panel selects one recipient for the award and up to two honorable mentions are recognized.
Congratulations to the 2013 VCU IRB Star Coordinator Award recipients!
