The VCU HRPP would like to share the message below from Tom Klug with a reminder for investigators about one of VCU’s policies related to research recruitment advertising.

University Relations and the Integrity and Compliance Office have recently updated the VCU Outgoing Sponsorships, Advertising and Endorsement Policy. This update contains new language clarifying that all advertising, including research recruitment advertising, are required to comply with the policy. 

The most important requirement is to submit your advertising via a request form to primarily ensure that marketing assets are brand compliant. Consistency in our visual identity and language is critical in building VCU’s brand awareness which in turn, lifts all individual marketing efforts.
